Octopus

Octopus was opened on 11th of July, 2011 in Gundulićeva street in the centre of Zagreb. In the beginning it was a strictly piercing studio, and in 2015 tattoo and scarification services were added.

In most cases all over the world, piercing is just a secondary service in a tattoo shop. By opening Octopus, Irena wanted to create a piercing studio where this service would be primary, also concentrating on a wide range of quality jewelry. Her other wish was, with time, to try and change the way people in Croatia see piercings - as something very dangerous happening in unhygienic conditions or as something very simple that anyone can do in any kind of conditions and with any kind of equipment.

Work of a professional piercer or a tattoo artist who has many years of experience is neither simple nor dangerous. Behind every quality work (in any area of expertise) are years of
learning, improving, practicing, worrying and very often many nerves lost. And the learning process is never finished. Professionally done piercing or tattoo can be dangerous only after the client exits the shop and causes a problem by himself - or a problem can occur as a result of heedlessness by a third person.

Our goal is to provide quality service to clients together with all relevant information about that service. We are constantly trying to implement improvements, not just in the equipment we use but also in our knowledge.

We would like to thank all of our clients for their continual trust and support.
For us, Octopus is not just a work place. We don't come home to take off our 'work uniform' (we go to bed with our tattoos and piercings :) ) and forget about work, like most people do.
What we do is our life, our hobby, love, happiness... and Octopus is our little family <3

Octopus loooooves animals so we have an ongoing action of collecting donations for different animal shelters around the country.

Whoever wishes to help, can do so by direct donations to some of the associations (if you need a recommendation, feel free to contact us (unfortunately not all shelters are good towards their proteges)), or you can help by donating to our piggybank for shelters (white rabbit on the counter), or by donating blankets, food and other neccessities (you can bring it to Octopus and we will transport it to the shelter).
